Actuary SAA
The title "Actuary SAA" is awarded by the Swiss Association of Actuaries (SAA). In 1999, the SAA officially recognized the lectures in insurance mathematics offered by the Department of Mathematics at ETH Zurich as counting towards the "Actuary SAA" professional diploma.
CAS/DAS in Applied Statistics
This course is aimed at scientists – especially from the natural and technical sciences – for whom statistical data analysis forms an integral part of their work. Students learn about a wide-ranging selection of statistical methods for data analysis and modelling.
DAS in Data Science
This interdisciplinary programme focuses on the management, analysis and utilization of large and complex data sets. It includes all levels of abstraction of technologies relevant to Data Science, from hardware and electronics, clusters and networks, through big data systems, to machine learning, algorithms and statistics.
School for Continuing Education
The School for Continuing Education is responsible for continuing education at ETH Zurich. It is tasked with helping professorships to develop and implement continuing education programmes and courses, and is also the central point of contact for persons interested in continuing education.
