How to get to ETH / the city center
By tram: If you plan to come directly to the FIM you can take tram line 10 from the airport in direction of "Zürich Bahnhofplatz/HB" and get off at "ETH/Universitätsspital". The journey takes 30 minutes.
By train: If you prefer to go to the city center first (Hauptbahnhof, main station) you can take any of the trains leaving from the train station at the airport in direction of "Zürich HB". Trains leave about every 10 minutes, the journey takes around 10 to 15 minutes.
By taxi: A taxi ride from the airport to the city center takes about 20 to 30 minutes (depending on traffic) and costs about CHF 70.00.
Tickets for both the tram and the train can be obtained at the ticket vending machines or at the ticket counters at the airport train station. A single ticket from the airport to the city center or to ETH costs CHF 6.60 (zones 110 and 121).
How to get to the FIM
If you enter the building at the main entrance (Rämistrasse 101) you can take the first elevator on the left ("Süd"). Get off on floor G, turn right 180 degrees and continue to the end of the hallway. To the left you'll find the door to our offices G 44.1, 44.2 and 45.2.
