Kangaroo goes Science
The hundred best girls of class level seven who have taken part in the Kangaroo Mathematics Competition in March are invited to visit ETH Zurich.
Kangaroo goes Science is organised by the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering, external page Kangaroo Switzerland (German) and external page 500 Women Scientists Zurich.
Kangaroo goes Science not only allows the girls to celebrate their outstanding achievements in the Kangaroo competition, but also offers them the opportunity to meet students from ETH Zurich. In lectures, lab sessions and workshops they get to know the less well-known aspects of science and engineering.
