Robert Weismantel: 2015 Farkas Prize
The INFORMS Optimization Society has awarded the 2015 Farkas Prize to Prof. Robert Weismantel, who is the Head of the Institute for Operations Research.
The Farkas Prize of the INFORMS Optimization Society was established in 2006 and is awarded annually to a mid-career researcher for outstanding contributions to the field of optimization, over the course of their career.
The prize will be awarded at a special IOS Awards Session at the 2015 INFORMS Meeting in Philadelphia from 1 to 4 November 2015.
