Christoph Schiessl successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled: "Cohomology of configuration spaces". Congratulations!

The Mathematicians and Physicists Association (VMP) has awarded the 2017 VMP Assistant Award to six student teaching assistants from the Departments of Mathematics and Physics.

Siddharta Mishra is one of five ETH Zurich researchers that receive a  ERC Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council (ERC). Their projects are funded with around two million Swiss francs each.

The 2017 Golden Owl at the Department of Mathematics has been awarded to Wendelin Werner.

Professors Sara van de Geer and Peter Bühlmann have been selected to the list of "Highly Cited Researchers 2017" published by Clarivate Analytics.
