Timo Welti, a doctoral student in Professor Arnulf Jentzen’s group at the Seminar of Applied Mathematics, works in the fields of stochastic analysis and numerical analysis. His current research focus lies on new methods for solving high-dimensional optimal stopping problems. He will give a talk about “Deep optimal stopping: solving high-dimensional optimal stopping problems with deep learning” at the SIAM Conference on Uncertainty Quantification this April in California.
