Meet the Talent 2018
Christopher Salahub, Master's student in mathematics, presented his work "How to bias a jury" at the 2018 Meet the Talent event of the ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme.
Christopher Salahub is one of 57 students supported by the ETH Zurich Foundation in the framework of the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP). His work Download"How to bias a jury – A statistical investigation of peremptory challenge" (PDF, 257 KB) focuses on the "procedure of peremptory challenge used in jury construction, which allows the defense and prosecution to reject potential jurors without providing a reason".
The ESOP enables outstanding young people from Switzerland and all over the world to pursue a Master’s degree at ETH Zurich. It sponsors talented students whose personality, creativity and intellectual ability promise remarkable achievement.
