Habib Ammari appointed Senior Fellow at Hong Kong IAS
We are pleased to announce that Professor Habib Ammari was appointed Senior Fellow at the Hong Kong Institute for Advanced Study.
Habib Ammari is a full professor at the Seminar for Applied Mathematics (SAM) and a world leading expert in wave propagation phenomena in complex media, mathematical modelling in photonics and phononics, and mathematical biomedical imaging. Read more on his personal website.
The external page Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) was established at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in 2015. As one of the few such centres in the region, it aspires to be an international centre of excellence for innovation by bringing together an interdisciplinary team of world-renowned scholars, including Nobel laureates, to contribute to the solutions of pressing real-world problems.
