Svitlana Mayboroda elected to the Leopoldina
We are delighted to announce that Professor Svitlana Mayboroda has been elected to the Leopoldina, Germany's National Academy of Sciences.

Svitlana Mayboroda is a full professor at the Department since August 2023. She conducts research in the field of analysis and has produced numerous ground breaking results in the areas of partial differential equations, harmonic analysis and geometric measure theory.

About the Leopoldina
The external page German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina is one of the world's oldest scientific societies. Founded in 1652, it unites researchers with outstanding expertise in their respective fields, currently counting around 1,600 Academy members from over 30 countries. Election to the Academy is carried out in a multi-stage selection process and admission criteria are outstanding scientific achievements. All members are actively involved in the work of the Leopoldina.
