Today around 360 new mathematics, physics and Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) students started their studies at the Departments of Mathematics and Physics. Representatives of the departments and study associations welcomed them and wished them every success in their studies.
ETH Studienwochen for prospective mathematics students

Friday 6 June was the last day of the ETH Studienwochen where about 33 prospective students had the possibility to learn more about mathematics at ETH Zurich. Together with Urs Kirchgraber and Roger Käppeli of the Department and Peter Ullrich of the University of Koblenz-Landau they worked on topics from algebra, geometry, differential equations and number theory.
