Description
The aim of the project is to design arbitrary order entropy stable DG methods for systems of conservation laws on unstructured meshes. Streamline diffusion and suitable shock capturing terms will be designed. The efficiency of the algorithm will be improved by devising a suitable pre-conditioner for the Newton-Krylov iterations needed to solve the resulting non-linear equations at each time step. Further stability issues like control on total variation and consistency with maximum principles will also be investigated.
