The 19th International Conference on Random Structures and Algorithms

Organisers: Noga Alon (Princeton University), Michal Karonski (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan), Benny Sudakov (ETH Zürich)

We are pleased that the 19th International Conference on Random Structures and Algorithms will be held at the FIM at ETH Zurich from 15 to 19 July 2019. The conference, organized biennially since 1983, brings together probabilists, discrete mathematicians and theoretical computer scientists working in probabilistic methods, random structures and randomized algorithms.

There is no conference fee, but we ask participants to contribute to the conference dinner if they want to attend, and to cover for their own lunches during the conference.

Plenary speakers:

Julia Böttcher, London School of Economics

Boris Bukh, Carnegie Mellon University

Peter Keevash, University of Oxford

Andrzej Rucinski, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan

Alex Scott, University of Oxford

Asaf Shapira, Tel Aviv University

Dan Spielman, Yale University

Paper submission

Papers for the proceedings should be submitted not later than on September 30, 2019. We plan to have them published by the end of 2020 as a special issue of the journal Random Structures and Algorithms.

All submissions have to fit the thematic scope of the journal and will undergo a rigorous refereeing process (as usually).
Please send your submissions directly to and indicate clearly that this is a paper for the proceedings of RSA 2019.
