Benjamin Sudakov receives Humboldt Research Award
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation awards the Humboldt Research Award 2014 to Prof. Benjamin Sudakov.
Peter J. Bickel receives honorary doctorate
The Department proposed the statistician Prof. Peter J. Bickel for the honorary doctorate of the ETH Zurich. He was honored for his pioneering work on semiparametric and high-dimensional statistics and on resampling methods for statistical inference.
Meike Akveld receives Golden Owl
The student association VSETH awards the Golden Owl to Dr. Meike Akveld. She is lecturer at the Department and responsible for the teaching of Analysis I and II at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering.
