Machine Learning

Machine learning has seen significant success in a wide variety of contemporary data science application areas, such as e.g. natural language processing, image recognition, and determining the 3D shape of proteins. The development of a mathematical theory of modern machine learning is currently an active area of research and corresponding courses are offered in D-MATH, D-INFK, and D-ITET. The courses listed here are meant to provide an introduction into machine learning application areas.
