Siddhartha Mishra: 2015 Richard-von-Mises Prize
The International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (GAMM) has awarded the Richard-von-Mises Prize 2015 to Prof. Siddhartha Mishra, who is a member of the Seminar for Applied Mathematics.

This prize for young researchers was given to Prof. Mishra in recognition of his pioneering work on the design and convergence analysis of arbitrary high order numerical schemes for multi-dimensional hyperbolic systems of conservation laws and their application in fluid dynamics and astrophysics.
