Heinz Hopf Prize for Claire Voisin

The Department of Mathematics awarded the 2015 Heinz Hopf Prize to the French mathematician Claire Voisin.

Claire Voisin is one of the world's leading researchers in the field of complex algebraic geometry. She received the 2015 Heinz Hopf Prize for pure mathematics at the award ceremony on 2 November 2015 at the ETH Zurich. The prize is awarded on the occasion of the Heinz Hopf Lectures on the topic of "Diagonals in algebraic geometry" and accompanied by a symposium.
