Sara van de Geer: member of the Oberwolfach Scientific Committee
We are delighted to announce that Professor Sara van de Geer has been appointed as a member of the Oberwolfach Scientific Committee.
The Oberwolfach Scientific Committee is an organ of the external page GMF – Gesellschaft für Mathematische Forschung and decides with the director on the scientific programme of the external page MFO – Oberwolfach Research Institute for Mathematics. This committee consists of about 20 outstanding international scientists representing all areas of mathematics as well as some neighbouring ones.
Sara van de Geer is a full professor at the Seminar for Statistics.
