Alessio Figalli: honorary doctorate
The Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) has awarded Professor Alessio Figalli with the Doctor Honoris Causa.
Alessio Figalli has received the honorary doctor for his contributions to the theory of optimal transport and its applications in partial differential equations, metric geometry and probability.
The ceremony has taken place on Friday 22 November in Barcelona.
UPC Rector, Francesc Torres hands over the certificate to Alessio Figalli.
