ETH Medal for two former doctoral students
The Department warmly congratulates Dr Yilin Wang and Dr Alexis Michelat who were awarded an ETH Medal for their outstanding doctoral theses.
Yilin Wang has received the ETH Medal for her doctoral thesis entitled: "On the Loewner energy of simple planar curves". She was a former doctoral student of Wendelin Werner in the Probability Theory Group.
Alexis Michelat has received the ETH Medal for his doctoral thesis entitled: "Morse-theoretic aspects of the Willmore energy". He was a former doctoral student of Tristan Rivière in the Geometric Analysis Group.
