Svitlana Mayboroda elected to European Academy of Sciences
We are delighted to announce that Professor Svitlana Mayboroda has been elected as a fellow of the Mathematics Division of the European Academy of Sciences.
Svitlana Mayboroda is a full professor at our Department since August 2023 and also Director of the Simons Collaboration on Localization of Waves at the University of Minnesota.
Mayboroda conducts research in the field of analysis and has produced numerous ground breaking results in the areas of partial differential equations, harmonic analysis and geometric measure theory.
She has won multiple international awards for her research and is not only regarded as a leading scientist in her field, but also has extensive experience as a university lecturer.
