Am 4. April hielt Stefan Kurz seine Antrittsvorlesung mit dem Titel: "Maxwell – Kálmán – Bosch: How Math Powers Progress". Er ist seit 1. Februar 2024 Professor of Practice am Seminar für Angewandte Mathematik.
Einführungsvorlesung Hyunju Kwon
Am 1. April hielt Hyunju Kwon ihre Einführungsvorlesung mit dem Titel: "A glimpse of hydrodynamic turbulence". Sie ist seit 1. Juli 2024 Tenure-Track-Assistenzprofessorin für Mathematik am Departement.

Am 1. April hielt Yuansi Chen seine Einführungsvorlesung mit dem Titel: "The cost of turning random walks into reliable statistical uncertainty quantification". Er ist seit 1. Februar 2024 ausserordentlicher Professor für Statistik am Departement.
